  • Automatic Free Wheeling Hubs

    Hi has anyone fitted Automatic Free Wheeling Hubs, to there pride and joy.
    i was thinking off fitting the ones sold on the Roughtrax site

    If I remember , they are not that good or reliable . Better off with a set of manual locking ones .

        Hi,
        Yes,
        Leave the auto-hubs alone they have been known to be unreliable when the going gets tough. Toyota used to fit them to 1st. gens. but stopped cos` they were $$$$! Locking out of 4x4 when reversing and stuff like that. The way to go is manual free-wheeling hubs by Aisan, Warn or AVM in that order.

          Thank's for the info, where can i get them from in the uk, i get stuff from Roughtrax as i'm down that way a lot. it saves on post. they also have manual
          hubs don't know what make there's is, will have a look . thank's again.
