Hi folks, Can anyone tell me if a 1990 silver-top 2LT engine will fit a 1989 Gen 1 Surf which has a poked Black-top 2LT engine. Visually they are quite different although most things appear to be in the same place. Thanks in advance.

Should do. I am pretty sure there shouldn't be any differences as long as they are both 2LT rather than 2LTE.
