If I want to get it repaird and maybe do it myself how should I go about it and also, what exact paint should I be buying?

try a chip stick from turtlewax and the wax polish as well, i had some deep scratches and used this and they vanished

I've used a company called Chips Away in the past. They are a franchise and do the job at the house. I've had excellent service at a good price from them but I guess it depends on the franchisee.
