2L (non turbo) modify to a 2lTE

Hi all...

i know ive read this somewhere...(either Tony or Nev i think) said it was possable to modify a 2L bottom end by means of drilling the crank sensor on the block and fitting a 2LTE crank (with the raised bit)

i have a mate who is looking to do this..and just wanted to check the thread to ensure there was nothing else he needed to take in to account...but cant find it now?...can anyone point me in the direction of this thead...or if a\nyone has any experience in doing this let me know?

The EFI motors have different size big end bearing journals on the crank so you can't mix efi and non efi rods and crank, don't know about the mains, but you may find its different as well.

thanks for that tony...im not sure if the truck is EFI or not,,,but will pass the info on..

im assuming the non EFI would have the same size crank as the the 2L?
