  • tie wraps or metal rings that is the question

    Hi All

I have a CV boot to replace but unfortunatley I have either used or lost the nice metal rings that comes with the kit. I have a pair of drive shaft boot clip pliers for sealing them but no use without the clips. do you think I should risk using good olt tie wraps or do you thinkthey would slip off any one used em.

There ok of an astra or similar but astras don't cross rivers.

    Cheers JB

I would have thought metal ones would be the choice.

Tie wraps should be fine for a CV boot.
