  • rear wheel bearing changing

My rear wheel bearings are a little slack, whats it cost to get em changed? It doesn't sound like a DIY job to me... I may be off to see a chap breaking a truck ( for other bits..)with a g255 back axle.. mines a g254 ....mmm lsd...
    it's in me shed, mate.

If you do decide to do them (I was a bit warey) I found it straight forward enough as long as you have the right equipment
        A Stands
Drill with good quallity 5mm drill
        4 1/2"angle grinder
        heavy hammer
        sharp cold chisel
had to destroy the locking shrink rings and bearings to get them off, but putting them back on was OK - bit of scaffold pole to seat the bearings and once red hot the shrink rings just fell on!
dont forget to catch the diff oil though it can go a long way and is a bugg** to clean up!
Did I mention I have a BLUE one
