I got two spare tyres for £20, would have cost me £200 I guess?

Getting my rocker and fuel pump done for £80 plus VAT by STeve in Stockport. If I hadn't have been given a heads up I would have either -

1. Done it myself and blew my car up.
2. Gave it to my current garage who wanted to send it away to a 'diesel specialisit' overnight to have the fuel pump seals replaced (quoted "at least £120 + VAT") and also quoted £120 + VAT to replace rocker gasket.

Nice feller but clueless it seems.

3. Getting my stereo fitted privately by an experienced friend for free.

Can't get much better than that can you?

people putting silly ideas in your head, like getting new wheels, tyres for offroading, bodylifts, boost guages, spotlights, A-bars, bullbars, intercoolers, snorkels, air vents and scoops, and those last 4 are all mods sitting in boxes still waiting to be put on my 2nd surf (hooked on surfs because of this site, so after having the 1st gen went and bought a 2nd gen!), fuel cats (another mod still in a $$$$$$ box!) so thanks alot to those responsible, you know who you are!

Me too, but it's worth it for the smile on my face and you cant deny that the guys (and gals) on here are very helpful (and nuts as well).

I was so impressed I bought the company (not really but do have 2 surfs)
