Yeah, its the bit that all the boy racers get hard-on's for when it goes 'ppffftttttshhh....' when you get off the gas. Its to stop the turbo stalling to avoid turbo lag, but mostly just worthless wannabee rubbish on a average car, especially a diesel.

If you get one from a turbo engine, it won't be too restrictive.

I`d like to see one from a non turbo engine,what would be the point?

front mount probably better as less chance of heat soak in traffic etc or try water injection?

the charge cooler is more efficent but you need a seprate water rad and pump for it.
