In need of 3.0 td head

Please help leaving in 6 days for a trip and found the head cracked today. Im in bc canada, and need one if I cant fix this one. Help!!!

Erm I have to ask this, why a 3.0 head ?

I believe you will need the 2.8 head, which is a bolt on replacement for the 2.4, but with better waterways.

Correct - its just that its referred to as the 3L head - the 3L is a Toyota code -- it does not refer to the engine capacity.

The 2.8 was a non turbo diesel.

Scarce in North America, more common in Australia and New Zealand.

I doubt anyone will find this as interesting as me, but this is the key to deciphering Toyota engine codes.
