    My surf has the spare wheel underneath the body, I would like to fit a rear mounted carrier. Has anyone done this if so how hard is the job and will I also need a new tailgate due to the numberplate position Thanks

    Hi Andy.yes it can be done but with a lot of work.you will first have to re-inforce the rear pillar to take the wieght of the carrier and you will wanting to find a tailgate from a surf that has the rear spare wheel carrier also and then you will have to do something with your reversing lights aswell.

      you could allways throw one on a roof rack, arb do a full length one that looks smart
