I have a 2.4 turbo 1992 surf which overheated and consequently cracked the head. I had another engine which i took the head off,had tested and skimmed then I fitted it myself. Since getting it going i've found it doesn't start as well as before, there's a slight miss when cold on low revs and it doesnt have as much power as before although it has improved after a couple of short runs. Does anyone have any suggestions?
