rear passenger heater not heating

does it run from the coolant system or is it a seperate 12v heater as it doesnt seem to heat up.
any help will be gratefully recieved.,

It runs off the main heater (on a separate branch). Probably blocked up. Do a search, it's very common. Have a look here
