  • V8 anyone?

I would like to put a nice V8 into my surf to replece the now ill 2.4 TD currently using squaters rights. 3.5 to 4ltr would be nice with preferably supercharger for those need not to know moments and any tips for nitro methane injection for those really not to know moments?
If at first etc? Find a BIGGER HAMMER!

Check out www.lextreme.com mate. Lots of info there if you fancy doing a 4.0 Toyota V8 swap.

Apparently the internals are pretty bombproof and plenty of people on the forums there know their onions when it comes to forced induction.

I'm hopefully having my 2.4 swapped for one early next year - managed to get a motor with ECU, all ancilliaries and auto box for about 600 quid from a Soarer.

A number of peeps have put the 1UZ engine into surfs which is nice = all Toyota.

You won't need a super charger and probably not need nitrous - a 4 litre V8 will be a nice improvement LOL. Or go Twin Turbo

Follow this thread on lextreme http://lextreme.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6658

PM Skid - he will get you an engine.

or Supertrux if you got the cash http://www.supertrux.com/

I've had the aural pleasure of listening to Vatchman's and it is a thing of beauty

I've been working on mine for too long now - mainly problems with me not having any free time more so than trouble fitting. I'm swapping in a Toyota 1UZFE - all alloy quad cam V8 with the automatic trans and dual cases with crawler gears.

I started a new site for sharing info on this specific swap. http://www.UZswap.com
