front diff oil leak

Hi there

i have a leaking front diff on my surf, is it much work to change the gasket? and what oil do I use in it, and how much

That'll tell you how much. As to changing the gasket, no idea.

If its the cover gasket, then just remove the front crossmember and unbolt the cover.

They more normally leak out the seals on the drive shaft flanges though, which means toy have to remove the shaft, pull the flange off and change the bush/seal.
