Give these guys a ring and see if they will export them to you. If not let me know and I can get some and send them on.

You don't say what truck/engine you have.

If its a 2.4, make sure your letting the glowplugs stayo n long enough, ignore the light, and wait till you hear the relay click off, then try it. It may just need two goes on the glows if its really cold.

Make sure you have power to the glowplugs first, if not check the fuse and relay.

Relay click. That's the girl method. Wait until you hear the beep if it's
      a 2.4.

                fixed it yet?

Are you getting a puff of diesel out of the exhaust when trying to start??
If not make sure the primer pump is working by pumping the top.If it doesn,t get harder to press after about 20 pumps then the diaphram is probably split allowing fuel to drain back to the tank!!
Also check fuel cut off solenoid / leaks / fuel in tank is diesel!!!

                  Hi Everyone,

I'm also having starting problem with my 1992 surf (originally from Japan). Fuse is OK, glow plug relay is also ticking. Just want to ask, how long is the normal preheating of the glow plugs? I observe mine to be just approx 3 secs. Hoping for your comment.

Wow, digging up a 3 year old post?! There's a currently running thread on glow plugs and starter issues, with plenty of good info in it: http://www.hiluxsurf.co.uk/forums/sh...ght=glow+plugs

Most of what you need is probably in there.
