is there a haynes manual??

hi, i've got a '92 2.4TD surf and theres a couple of little things going on with it that i can probably fix myself. i used to have a '93 2.4 hilux pickup and there was a haynes manual, or something very similar, for that, but i cant find any for a surf.

does anyone know if the hilux pickup books are applicable, or know of a workshop manual i can get for a surf?

i seem to have a couple of little oil leaks, from pipes i think, and i want to do basic stuff like oil change, flush out the coolant system, etc... i just got my surf but theres no service history for it at all. it was only imported in 2003 and the only info i have for it is the MoT certificate from june this year! i'd like to familiarise myself with the underneath of the truck too, see where everything is and what everything is!!

actually, one thing i KNOW i need is a back box and tail pipe for the exhaust. the tail pipe has sheared off the back box so i get the lovely smell of diesel exhaust fumes when i'm sat at traffic lights. do you know where is the best/cheapest place to get that is?

incidentally, the reason i want to change oil and cooling system is that today i was driving and got stuck in a traffic jam... a BIG traffic jam. anyway, after a while i noticed the oil level gauge slowly went way down and the temperature gauge went way up!! then as soon as i was started moving, the gauges returned to normal almost immediately. has this happened for anyone else??

When the engine is idling, the oil pressure drops. When the engine is revved, it rises.

The coolant temp gauge will creep up when sitting in traffic for a while 'cos no airflow is going through the rad.
There is an electric auxillery cooling fan behind the grille that cuts in automaticaly if the temp gets too high.

Also, don't sit in traffic with the transmission in 'D' and your foot on the brake for more than 30 secs, as the fluid in the transmission will start to get too hot and that heat is transfered to the engines cooling system.
