The red brake light on me dash keeps coming on, mainly first thing in a morning though.
As the brakes get used it goes off then comes back on then off again????
Anybody got ideas as to why could it be a sensor problem under the car or something??
    Thanks
    kev.

Check the brake fluid level, could also be the sensor switch in the vac resevoir.
Are the brakes working ok or do you have to put a lot of preasure on the pedal to stop, if so could be vac leak or vac pump not working
If it aint broke dont fix it

Mine done exactly the same a few weeks back - it was low fluid.

Get it all out and replace with new - the stuff in mine was a really wierd sh1tty colour.

id check all the other reasons as well as just topping up the fluid...its gotta be going down for a reason as gazbo said could be a weeping rear cylinder or low pads.. ive had a few cylinders just weep slightly and the rear brake dust in the drums makes it congeal together and make a lovely mess of the shoes in the long run.. when ya check the rear cylinders carefully peel back the outer rubber seal to see if its weeping slightly, try not to gouge it out too ruff with a screwdriver!!! i should think any dot four or five brake fluid should do but best to check first good luck

Sorry for the delay = just used normal fluid from local motor factors = its all made to the same spec.

checked all round can't see any sign of a leak.
Topped up the fluid seems o.k now though, but will keep an eye on it.
                    all the same thanks guys.
