Steering and biofuel

I have a 2.4 ssrx 1992 surf auto. Its all fine and dandy except when going through deep water - afterwards its as though there is no power steering for a short (2 secs) time. Also do I need to do any adjustments for biofuel?

Probably due to the power steering belt slipping cos of the water. Once it dries off, it'll start woking again..

No adjustments necessary for veg oil or biodiesel.
