    Hiya guys

I've got a L reg toyta pick up.... non turbo.

It over heated the other day and blew the top hose off.... the hose was abit shafted so fitted a new one... changed the ratiator as well.... But we just can't get it started. Fuel is getting up to the injectors but there isent a massive amount getting up there. I've usually been able to start them if the head gasket is goosed but i can't see it being down on compression in all 4 cylinders. I'm thinking its a fuel problem as well. Does it have an electric lift pump ontop of the filter??? Or is the lift pump built into the injector pump... I can't find a lift pump on it only.... the top of the filter housing looks like its got some sort of electric divice in there plus the manual lift pump.

Can't get any fuel to come out of the filter unless i manual pump it.... but its getting fuel to ther injectors just not a right lot.

    anyone got any ideas?

    Cheers

Some fuel pumps have a fuel shut off solenoid fitted, maybe yours has 'tripped'?

The electric device on top of the fuel filter assembly is a fuel heater.
