  • Pulley belts change procedure

I have a 1993 LN130 2.4TD that has snapped a couple of belts, air con and a smaller belt, on the way to work this morning, I have sent for a full set of belts from Roughtrax, has anybody got a good write up and photos for changing the belts?

You should be able to lower the air con rad by removing the bolts holding it on if you want to work underneath. DO NOT undo any hoses - thar be high pressure gas in them thar pipes (sorry, pirate talk!).

Probably better to undo the fan - 4 nuts holding it on - and see if you can wiggle it out. Getting the shroud off is a pain - it's in two parts and the lower bolt (in the middle, which can be accessed from, you've guessed it, the underneath) is difficult to get to.

You should get to all the adjusting bolts with the fan out.
