Hi,I guess most of you will have heard our sorry tale on this board,we are now trying to sell the original surf as we had to purchase another vehicle during all the problems.details as follows,
1992 J reg maroon surf 2.4 auto diesel 83,671 miles,its the top of the range model can't remember if that is ssrg or ssrx.In the last month it has had a new cylinder head incl all gaskets,front and middle exhuast pipes,and a new radiator.2 new tyres 6 months ago.It has recaro front seats, bull bar and spot lights.Few rust patches on bonnet.
It is being sold as a non runner as it has a suspect oil pump failure which has caused the engine to seize.so requires a new short engine.
The vehicle will need to be collected in the next 2 weeks via tow truck from a gargae in Ninfield in East sussex (near Battle).We have been offered £500 from a local garage so if anyone can make a better offer the best offer will secure it.Please contact me on [email]kate_e_miller@hotmail.com[/email
