Vacuum pipe

I have a vac pipe that tony and I found a while back and i found it again recently and I'm still not sure what its for but its not plugged into anything!
As you look at the engine it runs down the inside of the right hand battery.
Any ideas?

Not plugged in at either end? Passenger side = right?

Do you have the underslung AC. If you do then this may be the vent tube for the fans. It should be left open and not connected to anything. Just make sure it is up high so no water enters the hose.

just had a look and cant see anything like that around either of my batteries..

i have underslung aircon yes so that could make sense!
