  • Rear Anti roll bar

    Hi All
The surf failed it's MOT on the Rear anti roll bar D bushes, so i thought i would change them but the bolts holding the brackets on one side behind the fuel tank have sheered.
Does anybody have any idea how you get them out as they are in a really awkward position.
Thanks in advance for any advice

the only thing i can think of is one of those tap&di things or just take the anti roll bar off altogether

the same thing happened to me 2 weeks ago, except it was the other side.

i drilled a small hole down the middle, then a bigger hole, and the poped what was left out with a nail punch.

i didnt worrie to much about fcukin the threads up as i just put a new nut and bolt through.

i dont know about your but my brackets were in some shape, thats why i replaced them.

hope you can get a drill into that side.

      cheers scotty
