Turbo to a 2.4 hilux pick up?

Just a question to you wonderously wise and wobbly ones:

Can you fit a 2.4 turbo to a normal 2.4 hilux pick up? Does anyone know if it can be done? Is it just too much hassle and not worth the effort?

a guy at my work bolted a 2.4 turbo on his 2.0 petrol the other day,,it worked fine lol i thought this was funny as he only used two manifold bolts loland was also running 20psi boost lol(by blocking the waste gate with nuts lol)

yes you can, looked to do it on my old pick up. Only thing was I was advised that with the extra load on the engine it might knock out a few bits

Is the fuel pump not different? The engine needs extra fuel to go with the extra air.
