  • Over Heating Problem.

Typical, Spend A Absolute Fortune On Super Swamper Tyres And On The Way Home My Truck Starts To Over Heat.

Has Anyone Any Idea What Could Be Up With It. The Symtoms Are As Follows:

    1. Steam From The Overflow Pipe
    2. Full Coolant Bottle
    3. Temperature Gauge Reads Normal
    4. Excess Smoke From Exhaust

Please Don't Say My Heads Gone.

hate to say it m8ty......I take it is a 2.4 ?
try the easiest first , thermostat, rad cap etc.
The best thing is to get it presure tested that will determine how deep
your pocket has to be on any repairs.

    Been there done that

Best of luck me old m8 poppy

prity much how you have discribed..

Water bubbling into the over flow tank , white smoke from the exhaust,
        loss of water .

try as said new thermostst and rad cap there not expensive top her
up and see how she goes. Keep a few bottles of waterwith you .
or pressure test the system that will tell you once and for all one way
        or the other.

A semi blocked radiator caused mine to over heat thus cracking me head
Good luck, try either Tony N or Steveo cant be beat on service/price

FROM THE INFORMATION EVERYONE HAS GIVEN ME, IT LOOKING MORE AND MORE LIKE THE HEAD.
