Speedo

Hi all, fitted my speedo dial yesterday and all went well, the speed in comparison to my sat nav was +3mph which I can cope with.

Now all was ok untill darkness fell and I turned my lights on and oh poo no dashboard lights.

So do I have to remove the dash again or could it be a fuse.

Could be that one of the mulit-plugs in the back of the speedo housing has come loose as you re-fitted it. Check that your rear lights are working, if not then you'll know it's the fuse.I don't think the dash illumination is fused seperately.

Yup just checked the back lights and they are not working,so now I will look for the fuse box.

Update

Well I changed the fuse and it blew again and again and again.
Had to re check all dash fittings etc which were all ok.
So guess what was causing it.


A wire had come out of my Radio.
all good fun.
