    could someone please tell me what all the vsv,s are for, i have seven on my 2.4 manual there are two i,m really not sure about one is the lowest switch in the engine bay on the passenger side, the other is on the drivers side just a bit further up from the add vsv,s

    Well, i'm the 13th person who has looked at this thread and probably the 13th who has no idea what "vsv" means, but the 1st to admit it

    Can you explain what you mean by vsv...

              The proper name is Vacuum Solenoid Valve.No idea what the two you refer to are for. Sounds like you have a 2L-T. Do you?

                          its a 2.4 turbo diesel non efi i think nev this is one of the ones i,m not sure about

                            I can't tell from the pic but is there two VSVs at the bottom of pic? I can see the blue connector. The second will have a redish brown connector. These are the ADD VSVs as far as I know. Can you trace the vacuum hoses for the other VSV to see where they connect to?

                              one pipe links to the vacum supply from the pump the other runs over the engine to something on the back of the fuel pump
