Once you get the clock binacle out, unclip the clear plastic front, then you'll need a fork from your kitchen and slip the prongs under the speedo needle spindle and gently prise the needle off. Then you'll need a small phillips screw driver and remove the two small srews holding the speedo face on. Then remove the pin that the speedo needle rests on.
Fit new face to speedo and re-assemble.
If you have an electronic speedo, DON'T refit the needle yet.
Plug the electrical connectors back in to the back of the speedo / tacho, and switch on ignition then refit speedo needle so that it rests onto the stop pin. once needle fitted, switch off ingition.
If your speedo has a cable drive, fit needle then the clear plastic cover and re-assemble dash.
Does anyone know where you can get a replacment clear plastic cover from. I have checked Milners and Roughtrax but they don't have them. The one on my Surf has a big crack right down the middle and it drives me nuts looking at it everyday.
