Which Radiator?

hey guys, happy new year to you all!

my radiator has now developed a leak from the bottom now and since i've already had the header tank patched once and its had a recore i think i might as well buy a new one!

however milners list a NEW rad at £140
roughtrax £265, or £165 for a recon

is the roughtrax one substantially better, or just more expensive - or a i missing something?

anyone had either, opinions on quality, longevity etc....

I think the Milners rads are poor quality, according to a few people who have fitted them. I'd go for the roughtrax ones.

Would you go for roughtrax recon over milners new? just a bit short on cash and its an extra £100 for a new one from roughtrax, but dont want to regret it later!

Yeah I'd go for the recon from roughtrax too.
People who have bought Milners rads, say that they've had leaking probs. It may have been a bad batch of rads but with a 2.4 you don't need the stress!



Also, a rad specialist near me quoted me £120 to recondition and fit new top and bottom tanks to my rad!
I soldered it myself in the end and has been fine. It's got me worrying that my cooling system ISN'T loosing water at all, so I must have done a good job!
