Lack of topend power

My girfriends 2.4 (lte) seems to have no power above 3200rpm, I'm OK on petrol engines but this is the first oil burner I've had to look after!
The turbo light comes on OK and the turbo spins OK so I'm thinking injectors or stuck waste gate...
Further ideas please!

Max torque is at 2400rpm, so its going to be getting pretty flat at 3200 anyway.

Have you given it a service lately?

Thanks,it had a new head about 5000miles ago,but the lack of power has always been there,I don't think the injectors were cleaned when the head was off, (I was away ) otherwise its a happy truck! (touch wood)
