rear electric window won't move!

Hello,

The rear window on my surf has stopped working. I have checked that the window lock hasn't been pressed by mistake and all other windows are working fine.

If the internal switch or the key is used in the tailgate it still doesn't work.

The motor can be heard whirring away when the window tried.

Any ideas?

sounds like the gear has stripped on the motor.
usual fix is to swap with rear passenger window motor.
Try a search on the menu bar type in rear window.
its pretty common.

WARNING!!! In this frost ensure rear window is properly thawed out 1st as it will bond to the rubber. You will cause mechanism to break .
