can you mate a 3lt engine to a 2.4 gear box

there someone doing this on the australian site. its a bit more, er, involved....highly not recommended!

You need all the loom as well as ECU etc

Engine mounts are in a different position. You really need a front cut from a 3 Ltr to do it. It has been done but a difficult, time consuming and expensive conversion.

Hi gearbox is totally different you would need a complete front end to swop over. l have tried and endered up buy a recon 2.4 motor.
