  • Quick Oil Filter question

    Hi.

Are there any other vehicles which use the same engine ( or at least, oil filter) as the 2.4 Surf?

I want to get an oil filter for mine, but would rather buy one locally than order from anywhere..

    Thanks!!!
    It just does, OK?

There is an engine used in some Mazda and Ford vehicles that have the same type of dual stage filter with a 24mm thread as the Surf. The engine is a B2500 diesel. Will try and find the reference chart.

see if your old filter has a part number as they're usually cross referenced in the book

I can buy all servicing parts off the shelf from my local accesseries shop and if they haven't got it they will order and it only takes from 1 to 3 days if ordered on a week day, but I don't have any trouble ordering parts from the Toyota dealer either. Not that I have had to order much!
