radiator capacity on 2.4?

hi, im just about to change my antifreeze on a 2.4 td surf.
any ideas on what the coolant capacity is? (so i can mix water / antifreeze before i put it in)

i think i just read that the 3.0l is bout two gallons (9 litres?)

is this the same on the 2.4?

The amount that goes in depends entirely on how much you drain out. Dry fill is around 10 litres. After drain and flush there will always be some water in there. If you want a 50/50 mix add 5 ltrs of concentrate. If you want a 30% mix add 3.5 ltrs of concentrate. Rather than mix a whole 10 ltrs and risk having some left over just add the 5 ltrs or 3.5 ltrs of concentrate to a few litres of water then top up with water later. Once in there it will mix itself. Always use demineralised water.
