Brake warning light.

Hi all please can anyone tell me why the brake warning light has come on and stayed on my 2.4 TD 1992 Surf? but comes a bit brighter when the hand brake is pulled out so i don't think its a dicky switch. Would be glad of any thoughts.

Hi fluid is full to max....

Welcom aboard.
If the fluid level is o.k. it's probably the float switch sticking in the reservoir,
they all seem to do it at some stage.

How can i unstick the float in the cap?? if its poss. thanks to you all

Just unscrew the cap, use a rag to catch the dribbling fluid and just give it all a shake and a wipe over, and make sure the float can move up and down freely.
