    ive been asked what part of the engine code relates to the turbo

    as an example the 2.4 td 2L-TE if it was a N/A would it be 2L-E like the MR2 engine 3S-GTE turbo charged and the N/A is the 3S-GE does this rule of thumb apply to the Hi-lux's?

    must be the T... cos the E stands for ECU the earlier mk 2s were just a 2LT

      and there was me thinking all along that the E in 2LTE was for EFI so you is telling me that my 2LT-II has no ECU??
