Going back to my original spec question can anyone tell me if the 2nd generation has ABS? ive seen to different sites and one said they do the other the opposite...

I thnk you will find that it depends on the car, and how deep Mr Jap first owner's pockets were !!!

The majority though I think will be found to not have it, however I wait to be slapped for this .

Have heard claims of late 2nd Gen 4Runners having ABS as an option but never heard evidence of any actually having it.
Have never heard of it being available in any form on 2nd Gen Surfs.
