Tailgate

No not it dont work, it dont open!!! at the weekend did a boot sale tailgate down all day sat on a bit(12.5 stone) now the window goes down from switch in front and the key all ok but the stupid tailgate wont open the little lever thing feels disconnected, i know that the window goes down and activates it, any way of getting it to work now??? can i get the cover thing off with the tailgate up? glad i took the dog guard out or i`d have to climb in thru` the window( not a pretty sight)

inner panel pulls off, then metal plate underneath ndo the screws and you'll get access to the inside

I had the same thing, remove the inner panel, you should be able to open it from there, then you will see which bit has come unhooked, seems a pain to when it happens but 10 mins and philips screwdriver and alls fixed
