2.8 Rattle

Just brought me a 1990 2.8 surf and there is an annoying rattle that sounds as if it is near the airbox. When i lift the bonnet to try and hear it it seems to go quieter. Vibration occurs at certain rev's but does not rattle when at idle.
Any ideas?.

Maybe the airfilter rattling in the housing, it has been known quite a bit with some non genuine air filters.

if it goes when you lift bonnet, anything touching bonnet? bonnet stay?

Turned out to be the air intake thingy behind the left headlight, whatever you call it. Have since removed it which has made the air 'sucking' sound a tad louder, but sure is better than that god dam rattle! Thanks for the advice anyway.
