  • Brake caliper and disc problem

Am currently having the brakes done, thought it would be a case of new pads, as did my mechanic.

However, as he went to change them he realised i needed new front calipers.
the one on the nearside was very corroded.
So ordered them, when the came they will not fit the disc, the disc is to wide!

he has tried several different supplers, checking the measurements, but they are all to small for my what seem huge discs, they are all supposed to fit, ie they are for a LN130 hilux surf. -dont get it.

he is going to try milners on monday, but if they cant help i may have to have bluepoint calipers, apparently £130 each! not to happy about that.

any ideas anyone? why dont standard LN130 calipers fit my surf, its a 1993 2.4TD SSR-X

    HELP

    Thanks

    Tim

Calipers and discs change around 91' you probably got the wrong ones. Pads fit either type though.
