Hi I have found my ECU on 2.4 turbo Surf 1990 at last now what do members mean when they say reset the (I have turbo Problems) ECU?? and on my ECU it says Emission Control Unit, i am puzzled.. as there is no nob reset button

disconnect your battery o r batteries for about 10mins and then plug them in again. That should do it.

when you say plug them in again do you mean reconect the battery after 10 mins..
thanks for your response but I have tried this and it has no effect am taking it to a garage on 1st July same place that did my Starter motor I checked to see if anything disrupted or pipe loose but there doesn't seem to be, turbo was working ok till they fitted recon starter..baffed
