  • Any idea what "correction resistors" are.

    Hi,
    There are two 'correction resistors' on the fuel pump identical for both 2L-TE and 1KZ-TE. One is for Black smoke and the other for white/blue smoke, there are two charts in a Toyota training manual indicating resistance values and their effect on the performance of the engine. A friend had given copies of these pages which can be scanned for the needy.

    If any one requires these charts post msg with your email and I'll send these.

    Thers no mention of these in the 1KZ-T manual I have, guess its part of the 'E' Surf spec that UK and Europe 3.0 trucks don't have
