performance chip

has anyone seen the performance chip on e bay.has anyone fitted one of theses chips,has it made a difference.or is it a rip off.i cant see how it would work on a diesel engine.or am i just

Bingo! They normally richen the mixture setting, letting more fuel in, making it go a little quicker, use more fuel and smoke lots.

If you manage to fit it without destroying the ECU doing it.
