ive just dicoverd a oil leak it seems to be coming from the inlet manifold ! has anybody had a similar problem or any ideas where it can be coming from before i strip it down

Is it deffo an oil leak and not fuel...dont want 2 sound patronising, but could it be diesel mixing with old oil on the way out. Just mine had the same and turned out to be a fuel pump leak...at first looked like oil until ran clean + the smell is a give away------------------------------------

i had an oil leak from the inlet manifold it was coming out of the throttle body bar next to the throttle position switch,but that was due to the seals in the turbo.might be worth checking to see if you have a lot of oil in the trunking between the turbo and the manifold.www.overfab.ukComment

well ive sussed where im leaking from .its the cylinder head stretch bolt at the top of the head any ideas how to cure it or does it mean a new head gasket and bolts
