Nope, all 2.4's seem to be able to crack the head at will.

Yep the EFI engine has exactly the same head as the non efi one, also the non turbo 2L engine of the same vintage will also have the same head.

Only way to know if it has the new head is if it has been changed and the receipts are there - should have been change fairly recently to be sure and not for a second hand head.
Casting numbers are the same as well which doesn't help.
