    The switch or knob?
    The engine end of things?
    The wiring in between?
    All of It?
    For a 1st Gen model?
    For a 2nd Gen model?

A little bit of elaboration would go a long way towards helping others help you.

WHY? I've got idle up and never used it and probably never will, with the price of diesel these days the last thing you want to do is sit there with the engine fast idling unless you're using a winch or some other high current device.
Laugh!!! I nearly bought my own beer.

I use it quite frequenty for running an air pump for inflating my airbed.
