It may be that it need to be re-pressurised as the gas can leak out if not used for a long time, they say it should be use at least once a month.
If not that it may be the compresser or condenser is broken which can be quite expensive. If you look under the bonnet and get someone to turn the a/c on and off you should hear the motor going, this at least will tell you if its seized or not. Best to pop it in to a local aircon specialist they will be able to check it quite quickly.

Actually, you'll need to have the engine idling to do this - the compressor comes on by means of an electrically actuated clutch on the pulley, so when it is on, you should be able to see the compressor shaft turning with the pulley - when it is off, only the pulley is going round.

If its right out of gas, a low pressure switch prevents the clutch actuating.

Running it once a week, even in winter is generally enough to prevent nasty surprises in the Spring - unless you are unlucky enough to get a stone in the a/c condenser. Its also the best way to demist ona foggy wet cold morning as it dries the incoming air.

Shoudl be easy enough to find a specialist in Nottingham.

            fluid level in A/C system

Anyone no how i can check A/C fluid level, as it has stopped working. Relay klicking in, but no movment from condenser/pump unit. Guessing its that low fuid cut off sensor thats on them.

Yea, so if anyone knows how or has an A/C system diagram they can post, that would be helpfull.
