Code 4 & code 5

Just wondering if anyone can help me understand what code 4 means when it comes up on the diagnostic, and what I have to do to fix it?

Coolant temperature sensor
This will be the sensor thats connected to the ECU.The one on the thermostat housing is a sender not a sensor. Its located on the block above the starter motor, its roughly level with number 4 piston .
From memory its a greyish plug, sort of oval in shape.

I suppose I will have to replace my coolant sensor.

I also get a code 5.
Can anyone advise what I need to do to fix it as well?

Well in my business code 4 is a thinner roller lead sheet used for flashings and step and staggers and code 5 is for weathering a roof.

Code 5 is Correction resistance (Pump), its to do with the resistors on the pump, not done them before so don't exactly know where they are.

You could help me here. How do you get the fault code. What do I short out and where or do I need to buy a reader? Please dont tell me to search. I've tried!
