Sometimes a unit is temp sensitive, it gives a different reading at different temps, so you need to know the right temp to get correct ohms reading to check its working OK. Its how the ECU knows what temp the engine is running at.

warmed the engine up very slightly and taken another reading.it was all over the place.does it have to be exactly 20'c
left it uncoupled and started it up,it knocked like hell so it must be doing something.can it operate at 90% or if they break dont they work at all
        thanks fo all replies cody

If its playing up it'll give false readings, making the motor run bad or light the engine check light.

Or break completely and not do anything.

dont really no what to do about it BUT I put some injector cleaner in yesterday and it seems to be running quieter. So I am going to wait untill the tank of fuel with the cleaner in, is used upand if this does help it points to them needing reconditioning.I'll post the results Thanks
