injector or turbo slight knock

tapping noise from engine.had injectors checked,said they wasnt 100% but in their oppinion they wouldnt make it knock.checked valve clearance,all ok replaced shells on cam ,still knocks replaced shells on big ends no movement on little ends at all,still knocked..replaced cylinder head as where it sits over the bores three of them were badly corroded,still knocks.taking the injectors elswhere to be checked i'm sure its them .wondered if it was the turbo rattling but dont no .it does'nt tap when you coast down hillsor when you take your foot off the gas pedal.dont no what else to check.hope somebody has thanks

Who checked the clearance, just from reading up on it like I have you can find peeps whove had head jobs done but the clearances werent setup right and they heard a tap which proved the clearances were off the scale.

Sounds like youve been round the houses. Even a new head?

i checked the clearance on the old head and re shimmed the new head so i know they are ok
